Why would you buy HASport mounts for an EG? You can just use OEM mounts. Much cheaper, and you know they fit perfectly...Go with OEM mounts. Good job on getting that hatch cheap. Why are you swapping over EF suspension unto an EG?? Im confused..

I buying the hasprt mounts cause I'm poor and cant afford a hydro tranny. The EF suspention will lower my car at the EF's stock height, also cause I'm poor and cant affod a real suspention for the EG.

Damn, where do you guys find these deals?! The best price I've seen around here was $2k for a CX, no A/C, cracked windshield, crunched fenders. Couldn't even talk the guy down to $1k.
It would be great to find one for $500! Someone hook me up and there will be free !!!

If you bought that car from Orlando,FL I might inflict pain upon you. There was one in my local autotrader with blown motor for $650 obo. I got the autotrader when the wre put on the rack at 3am, called at 9 and it was already sold. That was 6 hours of wasted planning. I thought that car was mine.

If you have to get your car inspected or smog-checked before getting registered wherever you live, then putting in an engine older than the car itself is a big no-no. Be careful.

I do know about the older motor in newer chassis deal but I live in Jersey and work at a shop so I have a few ways to get around this. I forgot to mention the motor had a bad headgasket and around here the import thing hasnt caught on yet. I'm sure if the dealer saw my EF outside their building they would have jackedup the price.

278K miles? Wow. was this all on the original stock motor?
Anyhow, EF suspension will only work on EG if you use the EF front forks on the EG. EF front forks will also lower the front end of an EG, so if you have coilovers you'll need to adjust them up.
