Default WooHoo!! Just Ran At The Track!!

YEa baybee...after 6 long months after my motor swap...I finally get a chance to see what my baybee can do. Heere is the info.

First Run= 14.5 Quarter mile, 2.5 60 foot, 96mph trap speed

Second Run= 14.3 Quarter mile, 2.3 60 foot, 97mph trap speed

Third run= 14.1 Quater mile, 2.2 60 foot, 98 mph trap speed

93 Honda Civic Cx Hatch
95 JDM B18c GSR swap with I/H/E with test pipe
Short Shifter...ghetto Autozone clutch and flywheel

This was at Sacramento Raceway on Feb 9th 2005

Let me know what you guys think? Am I where I should be at? Or am i running slower than I should? Im assuming it was pretty decent because of the reactions people gave my when I told them what I had. But any feedback would be much appreciated. Thanks yall! And I'll be posting my times again in 2 weeks! I'll be getting a Exedy flywheel and ACT clutch by then...hopefully.

well i got a good deal on my motor because the guy i ordered it from fucked up on the first order and the motor was returned to him when it got to the U.S. because some kind of paper work was wrong...or so he says. I ended up talking him down to 2200 for the complete motor except the mounts. So i didnt spend 3k for it...but after all the bolt ons...etc...etc... 3k sounds about right. hahhaha

Seems about right to me. Built to Spill ran a 14.0 with a bone stock JDM GSR and no exhaust in a CX hatch.

From what I've heard a b18c dropped in a eg is suppose to be high 13's stock...but I guess it depends on driver, tuning, and environment. I know when I had mine I hit 13.9 with a stock b18c in a 92 vx.

Thanks for the info and comment guys...hopefully i can get it down to 14.0 or 13.9 with some better tires...i was having a little bit of traction problems...but theres only so much u can do with cheapo kumho tires right? And besides, Sacramento Raceway is known to be a slow track too. haha o well, at least we have a track...

Whats up. I was out there that night also. Reg EG, snapped my axle on the first attempt at a pass. I ran 14.1 @ 102mph after I got it all fixed, but traction blows. I run Azenis out there and best I can cut is a 2.2 60.. I have to let off in first and second from the traction issues. Best time I have cut out there is a 13.8 @ 102mph. Check this out!

Good time. I ran 14.2 in my 4dr eg with about the same setup. I weighed in at 2600. My car needs a diet.
