without the throttle cable.can i still star the car?
i am still waiting for the throttle cable for my b16 engine.
but everything else is pretty much done.
can i start the car without throttle cable ..so i can see and hear how it runs?

yeah there is a screw on the throttlebody that holds the butterfly open at idle. to rev it, you will just have to do it by hand at the throttlebody

It's the same thing as starting your car and not hitting the gas pedal.
It frightens me that you swapped in a B16 yet you don't understand how a throttle body works.

yeah i have a buddy helped me put the swap in
i know how throttle body works
but just need to comfirm the theory before i start the car
and took us over 14 hours to do the swap in my garage
with all hand tools...no power or air tool used..
we have got everything in place now..just waiting for the right throttle cable to
come.but after hard work..everything is worth it.
i am so happy to see that b16a SiR II engine in my engine bay
