Wiring Vtec in stock harness....I've searched
Well, my LS/Vtec swap is a week away and I am currently prepping everything. I am trying to get the best wiring combo for a 93 Dx hatch automatic.
I plan to join the Vtec solinoid wire with the pressure sensor wire in the engine bay.
I am using a LS wiring harness so the Vtec wire goes to the plug on the shock tower on the engine harness. For the chassis side of the shock tower plug, I was hoping that I could simply switch pins there and at the ECU to create a complete circuit to the solonoid.
My questions is what could be eliminated during the swap that could allow this switch on the plug? I have been trying to track down a wiring diagram of that shock tower plug. The online FSM is very blurry is pretty much unreadable.
I have read about switching the EVAP purge silinoid wire, but I was not sure if it went to that plug on the chassis side of the shock tower allowing a simple pin switch. Is there another option? Does anyone know the specific chassis side wiring of that plug?
On a side note, I am using a chipped P28 from Phearable.
Any and all help is appreciated.

Go to a junkyard, pull the two wires you need from any '92 hatchback or sedan (there are no '92 coupes) The will be orange/white and orange/blue.

Thanks. I realize I could add the wiring to the harness, but I was wondering if I could switch with something that could be eliminated during the swap?
How did I know you would be chiming in on this 94EG8?

Someone has to answer questions There used to be a bunch of guys like me that posted all the time, most of them were actually more knowledgeable than I am.

I can't think of anything, even the purge solenoid only has one wire on that side of the engine bay (the power for the purge solenoid comes from the driver's side.
