Wiring up a b16 for ek. Could use some basic help.
I've tried the Hybrid forum, and i've read through the links, but here goes my problem.
The motor is a '00 b16, and the car is a '96 civic.
I pulled out both harnesses and i compared them, then all the plugs that i was missing on the cx harness compared to the si one, i took them all out with the wires connected to the plugs. So basically i completely opened up the si harness and took the plugs out nice and clean. So now i have about 8 new plugs that i have to add, i don't know what half of them are for, i found the vtec pressure, and a few others. Now i am not sure if i have to run all plugs to my cx harness or just some. i was looking at the helms manual for a 96-98 ex wiring harness and some of the wires i have don't match p with any of the ones in the helms. So can somebody list exactly all the wires/plugs i need? Thanks.

all you needed to use was your stock harness and swap the crank angle sensor plug and just run your vtec wires straight to your ecu plugs

But there are a bunch of other bullshit wires, like one goes into the intake mani, the other , i think it's a temp sensor for the intake goes into the intake, then i have some other ones.
And how many vtec wires are there, vtec pressure, then what else is there, and also what colour is the knock sensor?
Which wires do i have to extend?
