Default Wiring second o2 sensor

I have a 96 civic dx hatch with a b16a2. My ecu is p2p. I found this link http://ff-squad.com/wp/?p=395 explaining that I need to wire in the second sensor because the b series engines only come with 1. The pins that im supposed to wire the o2 sensor to already have wires in them. I guess this means I dont have a SI harness like I thought. I read that the second o2 sensor drops through a hole in the body near the rear of the car. Is there a way to get to this plug from inside the car?

Why are you using a P2P with a B-series engine? Get a proper OBD1 ECU and adapter harness and you won't have to worry about the second O2 sensor.

I didnt do the swap. So OBD1 is better than OBD2?

It's not "better". It just makes sense that if you have an OBD1 engine that you should run an OBD1 ECU.

And the ECU you are using is for a single cam, not a double. You are probably running that engine lean as hell.

Does it matter which OBD1 ecu I use? Would something like this http://www.ebay.com/itm/Chipped-P28-ECU-OBD2-to-OBD1-Conversion-Harness-/171038557548?pt=Motors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories&hash=item27d2b1456c&vxp=mtr be best?

Your engine should already be OBD2. The only draw back to using the OBD1 ECU is that if you are in a place that emissions tests with the scanner you'll fail with the OBD1 ecu. If so find a 96-97 P30 ECU for plug and play or a 99-00 P2T and an OBD2B-A ECU adapter.

You'll have to tap those locations at the ECU for the second O2 and wire up your O2 that way.

Im not worried about emissions. So OBD1 should be plug and play with the adapter? P30 is what I should be looking for? What about P28?

P28 will only be good with either a tune or P30 basemap. Or find a P30 OBD1.
