Wiring Issues - Need Help Bad!
** 1994 dx hatch swapped with a z6 running a p28** If that helps any i figured i would throw that in there too**
This has been an ongoing issue with my car and ive tried most everything so im guessing that it has to be wiring issues. First of all i idle at 2500 rpms, and the car is throwing cell 10,12(IAT,EGR). But one thing i just noticed is when i turn my car on but dont start it, like accessory, the rpm needle jumps to 500 rpms right where it should idle. This is even before its started! Do i have a short somewhere? Should i try replacing the engine harness or Body Harness?!. Im honestly lost. Please PLEASE! any Honda Guru help me!
It will be greatly appreciated, and so will any ideas!

Check for vaccuum leaks with the idle first. Check to see you haven't mixed up the IAT and Evap. Purge Sol. plugs as they are the same. Make sure you repinned your ECU because you went from the 3-wire to 2-wire IACV. I'm not 100% on all of them but noone else answered and3 that should give you a start.

Down load the manual and look in the trouble shooting charts.
Hopefully it's something simple. The harness is not that hard to change once you done it. Hopefully you won't have to.

dx and z6 are both 2 wire iacs, so your purge, iat, iac can all be switched.
what ecu are you running, and why is it looking for an egr valve? the vx only one with egr valve?

Re: Wiring Issues - Need Help Bad! (boostedcivicsir)
I have no clue why its throwing the EGR cel?! Im running a P28. I also bought a z6 harness so everything should be pinned just fine right? Im sorry if im wrong but i suck with wiring! The weird thing is i put a brand new IAT sensor on, reset the ECU and its still throwing the IAT cel! Ill try vacuum seals. One thing i forgot to mention that i planned to try. Any other ideas
