I took out my dash basically for the hell of it, more of a learning thing I guess, and now it's all back in except my radio won't turn on. It's a Pioneer DEH-4000UB, not a stock one.. I've got 2 plugs hanging loose, I believe one goes to my hazard button and I'm not sure what the other goes to.

So is there a diagram of a 95 civic cx wiring harness labeled with which plugs goes where?

if the plugs are at the upper part of dash near the vents, it cant be radio. But you should be able to connect everything without issue, just look until you find all of them.

My integra/civic manual has a diagram, but it does not show pics of the connectors.

yeah I'm gunna have to start taking things out slowly until I figure out why it's not working.. it's really gotten on my nerves..

did you connect the ground wire up around the steering column?

I opened up my e-mail and saw "ground wire" and a huge smile came up on my face...
I remember seeing the wiring and noticing that it wasn't on a the new harness I had, this is why I kept the old one, I never did connect it to anything, thanks a lot dude I'm pretty sure that's the problem.. I forget where the wire is and where to ground it to though, any insight?

i pressed the ground wire against a piece of metal and it didn't work.. could be a bad ground but i'll deal with that tomorrow, it's a bit late here. any other ideas?

i had the same problem, when i tried to do a integra dash conversion but decided it was to much work. My problem was the b+ ign... there wasnt any. i ended getting my b+ ign from the cig lighter connector. the only prob i have is i also dont have the constant b+ for the radio memory( still tring to figure out where im going to get it from

alright, so i discovered another plug that plugs into the back of the head unit.. it has a bunch of different wires connected to it. all of them are clamped together except for a few that are just hanging loose. can thank the old owner for that.. anyway, when i plug it in my amps and subs stay on even when i dont have a key in the ignition.. when i use my turn signals my subs hit to the beat of my signals but my hu still wont turn on! ugh!!

does anybody know were to get a wiring harness diagram for a 95 honda civic i am putting a 95 5 speed engine into a 96 automatic the year they changed from obd 1 to obd11 so i put the 95 ecu and harness into the 96 got the engine to start and the insrument cluster working but still have the heater air cond running lights cooling fans etc this is an alligator of a project and any help would be appreciated
