Default Wiring fogs without harness..

Well my EJ2 was jacked and i had my fogs all wired with the oem harness and all that, fortunetly i had to take my fogs off for my intercooler piping before my car was stolen.. Well now im just left with the fogs and wanna hook'm up to my new car "95 hatch" but cant find a wiring digram for the install without using the oem harness/switch... I'm sure i probably have to run some sort of relay along with the wires, just not sure how or where to start... thanx..

just splice the wires from the fogs, and ill be fine..?? someone was sayin that the output will cause me to pop switches daily unless i use a relay, but since the running lights are already relay'd im assuming the relay is strong enough to maintain quality even with the fogs wired in..?? thanx for quick response also..

you need a 30-40a relay, else you risk burning your car down.

so how do i integrate the relay into the fogs if im gonna run'm with my corner lights..?? hope im not askin for to much, im just not to much of a wiring genious although i do have a multimeter and im not afraid to use it lol... all i have is the eg fogs and both have their connecting plugs still attatched.. i'd have to cut off the plugs and re-wire them to the relay somehow, than to my running lights some way also... ??

bump for never getting an answer..?? just wanna wire my fogs into my corner lights, thats it... come on with the switch, off with the switch, thats all... seems basic but i'm just not 100% on how to go upon this.. i've contacted several business's who sell the JDM foglight kit with the switch and all but none of them will salvage a harness kit/switch because they all say they aren't supplied with extras and blablabla w/e... So yeah, anyone..??

Don't waste your money 1cam - the solution is simple and i've tested it. If you wire into your corner lights bump your fuse box fuse to a higher number. AND just slap a little fuse holder into the power line going from your coner light to the fogs. i'd say 25's for both the fuse holder and in the fuse box. I had a fog light of mine shatter on a setup like that and then water got to the wires inside and POP! only my inline fuse blew and my corner lights didnt blow out. If you don't upgrade fuse size you'll pop a fuse the instant you turn on your running lights.

so just buy a small inline fuse and connect it in between the fog and corner light wires, an just upgrade my stock fuse for the corner lights to a 25amp fuse..??

dont mind the drawing it was a 2 second thing just to get an idea, but something like this..???

beautiful drawing, and yeah that's how i had it. all you do is turn on your running lights and the fogs come on too. and yes - definately up your fuse box fuse to a 25 too - it'll blow otherwise cause it's set up to run a few little blinker style lights... you need more amps to pass through to power the fogs

lol u like that "Mona Lisa" huh haha... ight cool man, ima give it a whirl... What u said makes perfect sense, an even explains somehow or another why most peoples **** would fry "cuz they didnt put a fuse between the fogs and corner lights, only upped the underdash fuse"... to u my friend
