Wiring Diagram for 98-99 Type R cluster in civic?

Does anyone have the cluster wiring diagram for a 98-99 integra type r cluster into a civic, not the 94-95 gsr diagram everyone posts up, because the coloured wires are different from the civic to the integra.....

thanks https://honda-tech.com/forums/images/smilies/emthup.gif

Using the GSR harness (which I have done), it's very simple to get your dash 100% working.

You can use the GREEN and BLUE plug, which plug right into the Civic fuse box plugs.

HOWEVER

The grey plug has additional pinouts on the Integra dash harness and cannot be used. Just retain the Civic grey plug and match the pinouts.

I am currently making a JPEG diagram for this -- will be up soon.

ONE THING, your turn signals will not work.

Why?

This is why:

The power wire going to the Integra hazard switch is the Yel/Blk wire, where-as the Civic hazard switch is the YEL wire.

Just simply take the Yel/Blk wire from the Integra harness (which is an unused wire from the grey plug), and splice that into the Yel wire on the GREEN plug (the middle pinout YEL wire.

Kaboom -- done.

More info soon...</TD></TR></TABLE>

I have the diagrams at home if you need anymore.

Re: Wiring Diagram for 98-99 Type R cluster in civic? (turbogixxer)

see this is the problem the 98+ integra harness the green plug will not plug into the civic fuse box and either will the grey plug with having to repin it, that is why I am just going to use the civic harness and repin the cluster side, if someone has a up to date article or wire diagram that would be great, but I no 100% that the wires don't match colour per colour https://honda-tech.com/forums/images/smilies/emthup.gif

use the search function.. the wire colors are different, but the pin locations should be the same...

Re: Wiring Diagram for 98-99 Type R cluster in civic? (redlinetuning)

I used the search function and couldn't find the answer I was looking for that is why I posted, clearly if you think the pins are in the same spots you are mistaken and you should use the search function and maybe learn something today instead of saying "use the search function". Because a civic has a 10 and 12 pin plug while the integra uses a 13 and 16 pin https://honda-tech.com/forums/images/smilies/emthup.gif

Have you checked the archives? Secondly, I was referring to the Integra clips being in the same locations (94-97) / (98+). Maybe you misunderstood me when I said "wire colors are different, locations should be the same". I just did the same conversion for a friend's EG, and it wasn't that hard. I wasn't trying to be a smart ass, just trying to help. I'll remember this type of attitude next time you're needing some help. https://honda-tech.com/forums/images...s/emthdown.gif

follow this diagram that you could have found if you did a search and it will work correctly.. i have had it done since Feb and no problems at all...

na.. that's cool yO.. i'm here to get information and share what I know.. I dont' have a problem explaining thing to people who ask respectfully. If i find I'm wrong about something in the process, that's just a learning experience for me as well.

But the teggie clips have the pins in the same location, except the wires are different colors among the years they were made. and that does not make a difference. Just Identify them on the clip and label them , you'll be fine.. hope it helps. I'm in Minnapolis, so if you need help, just IM me.

actually no they don't, that's why I posted it in the first place, but either way I solved my problem by going to my buddies shop and using the mitchels on demand https://honda-tech.com/forums/images/smilies/emthup.gif , that wiring diagram is completly wrong with 98-99
