Default wiring a b18b (obd2) ls motor into a 92 civic dx

i already searched and everyone says if i use the integra harness it should be all plug and play with an obd1 ecu (using a conversion harness). my question is my friend wants to B.A.R this motor so he has to run the ecu that came with the motor right? i was wondering if we used the ob2 ls ecu will it throw any codes or does anything have to be modified. its a 98 ls motor if that helps.

When I did my swap, all I did was use the obdI LS ecu to run the obd2 engine... it was all plug and play and runs fine.

Your car is obd1, so running the obd2 motor with the obd1 ecu shouldn't be problem....you just can't go the other way around that's all.
