Default Wiring an amp. 95 civic.

I have a 1995 Civic EX and I'm looking for a good spot to run my power through my firewall for my amp. Today is the first good day to get out and do anything so i want to do it quick when I get off. So im just looking around online and on H-T (if you cant tell by me necroing a 3 year old thread) for a good/easy place to run the wire through without drilling a hole. I obviouslly didnt find anything so I'm asking you guys for some help. Pics of the firewall and from the cabin would be helpful. Or at least a thread with those things.

theres usually holes insulated by a foam/cloth like material on the fire wall.. tape a clothe hanger to the power wire and stick it in one of the hole..un have someone from the inside fish it out from under the dash on the passenger side..

Well I know on my 97 ex theres a hole a little to the right below the battery that goes through to the passenger floor. That's where I ran my power wire for my amp.

Yeah idk how different they are but I will definately check that out. Is it below the place where the battery sits or can you take the battery out of the holder and it will right there? So when it goes through the other side it's pretty easy to get to right? No taking the dash apart and crap?

on the drivers side on the firewall there should be a little plug where you can just pop it out and run it in there its by where all the wires run along by the brake master cylinder under the hood

just run the wire through where the cruise control is, if you have cruise and a manual then the drivers side can not be utilized. ther is an access on the passengers side.

here is the EK 96-00 civic

here is the EG 92-95 firewall where the access is

And last but not least 94-01 integra

Wow thank you. This is exactally what I needed. And I do have a manual with cruise so I was always wondering why peoplel like zacheryleatherw always mention the drivers side. Mine in completely filled with wires so I cannot run a power wire through it. And I need the wire to be on my pass side as my other wires are on my drivers side.

just make sure if you run your power down your passenger side to run your rca cables down the drivers side. you should seperate them to reduce engine noise. if you are just installing a sub/amp and not a 4channel it shouldnt be a big deal though.
