Default wiring

im going to be swapping an ls engine which is obd1 into my 98 civic. question is, should i convert to obd 1? its going to have a built block (p73 pistons, acl bearings, rod bolts, shotpeened rods, bore and hone... etc), but only because i want to do ls/vtec down the road, just dont have the money for it right now. i want it to run right, and with that combo on a stock head, im looking at a 11.5:1 compression ratio or so it will need some tuning. now, can i get obd2 electronics, sensors and all that jazz, then just get the ecu jumper? what should i do?

Converting is up to you...i would unless you just run an afc hack to adjust your settings.
You can run obd2 sensors with an obd1 ecu, yes - theyre pretty much the same anyways.
