ok i'm doing a b16a2 into a 6th gen civic ex coupe...with a pr3 ecu, can i use the stock wiring harness, and just mod it a littel or do i need a ne harness?
if i can use the old one will some one tell me what needs to be done to make it work please?

ummm i don't think you can use a PR3 for your year civic... you can use a OBD2to1 jumper and a P72/30/ or a chipped P28.

y not, the head has pr3 stampted all over it so do the pistons

if you look at any b16a head it will say pr3/ pr4 same as the type r beacause they use the same casting when making these heads

yes you can use the same wiring haeness cause it allready has a knock sensor and it is wired for vtec all you need to is just drop it in and you need an si rear bracket and maybe an si post if it does not come with one but your ecu problem willnot be that hard to figure out you just need an obd 2 piggy back tansfer to obd 1 thing thaT SKUNK2 makes i would use the p 30 ecu because vtec comes on higher

yeah....u ca't use a pr3 ecu....I would recoment getting a obd2 to obd1 converter and get a p28 chiped

i bought this ecu off a guy that told me i could use it for this swap, and also cause its got the mugen chip in it so if there is any way i can use it i will find a way, help would be apriciated though
