its extremely easy to do your self. so is an oil change dont pay some one else to do it unless you have excess amounts of money. just change the plug wires one by one so you dont mix them up and change each spark plug as you do the wires. youll need a special spark plug socket and a 6" extension.

I highly doubt you need new plug wires unless they look messed up or something is wrong with them. Plugs are like $15 for ngk's at the store.

While you're at it, change out the fuel filter, dizzy cap, and rotor. May or may not be necessary, but I figure ts better to to the whole package than just half of it. Its a very simple procedure, your best bet is to go to autozone and pick a repair manual for your car for 20 bucks. All you need to know is right there for ya. Good luck!

Why do you need a manual? Pull the plugs out, put new ones in. Pull the dizzy, pull off the cap, take out the screw that holds the rotor on, take the rotor off, put new rotor on. Re assemble with the new cap.

I suggest using a paste to keep spark plugs from sticking onto the engine. The name escapes me...but autozone can help you. I apply the paste on the spark plug thread when inserting a new one in. When tightening the spark plug, only torque until snug. Do not overtighten. Try to get some help with the tune up if you can. You'd be surprised how many of your friends or relatives know how to perform one.
