Wired in IAB/KS: Throws CEL(new KS)
I have a 95 b18c1 with the cx engine harness in a 92 vx shell. I wired both sensors directly to the ecu and it's throwing code 23 but not IAB. How do I know if I even wired IAB correctly or even working properly? Any ideas? I searched but don't really see swaps w/o using a gsr engine harness. I need help fast because I need to pass bar/referee/smog.

a way to tell if the IAB is working is to rev the engine in Neutral to 6500 and see if the plunger thingy on the IM moves..as for KS wut kind of gas are you putting?

IAB's hit at 5800 on a GsR. You should hear IAB's loud and clear. My VTEC is somewhat quiet and my IAB's scream.

What I did to wire my IABs is relocate the A17 EVAP pin and wire (red wire) on the ECU connector to the A17 spot, which is the IAB location. Then just use the EVAP solenoid plug on the IAB solenoid. Make sure your wire is in the right spot, should be in A17. If you look directly at the ECU harness plug, on the side with the pins, not the wires, it will be the 5th one on the top row counting from left to right. IABs on GSRs open at 5800rpm.
