wire size for grounds
hello all,
after i did my exhaust the other day i noticed that i didnt have a ground coming off the alternator(or the vc for that matter). the only grounds i saw period were the battery ground and trans ground. anyway, down to the nitty gritty...
i ran a 10ga with ring terminals from the vc to chassis. can i use the same gauge for the alt to chassis? if it matters, im not running any sound systems or any of that. got a single din hu with four 5.25 speakers, 55w ac hid kit and led tails.
thanks in advance!

Re: wire size for grounds
wow. so nothing from alternator?
would a 10ga work for the thermo? reason i ask is that the trans ground is super thick compared to what i have seen on valve covers.

Re: wire size for grounds
nope,nothing for the alternator
and the thermo ground comes off the wire harness, so no need to add a new ground
but the vc one is always small, and the trans ones supposed to be thick. i have seen people run without the vc ground, even i dont have it on mine anymore
