Icon5 Wipers problem

Bought a 97 civic Hx recently, owner told me the wipers didn't work so I thought it was something easy like the motor. Picked up the car replaced the motor.. Nothing.. Thought maybe it could the wiper switch.. Replaced switch.. Nothing.. Figured it was probably a wiring issue then put both oem switch and motor in and found out one of the wires(green wire I'm pretty sure) wasn't getting power to the switch so I hardwired a wire from the fuse box below the steering column into the wire output that wasn't getting power. It worked for maybe a week then it started making it so I'd have to have the lights on for the wipers to turn on and then it started blowing my stereo and wiper fuses. How should I go about fixing this problem? Not the best with wiring and electricianal stuff

Did you check the wiper fuse before you replaced all these parts?

Grn/Blk wire? At what location did you test for voltage on the wire?

started blowing my stereo and wiper fuses.
Post the fuse numbers or pictures of the fuse locations in the fuse box.

Yes checked the wiper fuse it was blown. And yes it green/black wire. And that lime green wire on the left is the wire that was wired into the green/black

If the wiper fuse was blown, then return to the stock wiring of the Grn/Blk wire.

The Grn/Blk wire in the pic looks damaged or cut.

The fuse box option slot 3 you chose for Grn wire supplies power with key in ACC/ON(I). You should instead use option slot 4.

Grn/Blk is power for the wipers.

Yel/Red or Wht/Blu is for the stereo.

The stock grn/blk never moved. Should I cut and rewire grn/blk wire?

Took my car to a buddy told me the grn/black wire wasn't getting power to it probably due from being all cut up. So he took that lime green wire and hard wired it from that 3rd socket in the fuse box to the connector of the switch. So both the wires are in the connector that connect to the wiper switch.
