Wipers and Horn Not working but hear a clicking sound
While travelling through a light drizzle yesterday, i switched the wiper only to get a click sound. The wipers seemed to be working great. But now i jus hear a click noise from somewhere beneath the steering column. Same happened to my horn a month ago.
I checked the fuse box for the correct rating of the fuses, but i am yet to perform a check for connectivity using my multimeter.
When either of these 2 swtiches are depressed, i hear a single click. Googling didnot provide me with adequate answers. So, i am wondering if any of you has been through this trouble or help me with this issue.
I can do away without honking, but not without wipers. Could this be a faulty relay issue? or just a blown fuse? There are 2 fuse boxes, one next to the battery and the other beneath the steering wheel. Both seem to have Horn marked on it. Are the relays placed in either of these two fuse boxes?
My car's 1997 Honda Civic EX. Any circuit diagrams/ photographs can really help me solve this issue.
Thanks in advance ...

if it was a fuse there would not be a click at all. so im thinking its more than just a fuse.
correct me if im wrong.
im thinking MAYBE messed up electric motor that moves the wipers.
horn.... not so sure.

More than likely its the switch on the colmn for the wipers,...it seems to be a common thing with civics, get a switch out of the junkyard, tell them to make sure it works on all settings before they remove it, but i have also seen the motors go bad also, as in one car the wipers worked but would not park or work on intermitten setting.....i would jump power to the motor first to see if it still works....
