Icon2 wiper lever

how difficult would it be to replace the windshield wiper lever on a 94 dx coupe because i let my gf borrow my car and she tried to turn on the wipers by pulling down on it but she damaged the lever so now when ever i hit a bump the lever drops and the wipers turn on i think it has a broken spring so for now i have a bottle cap to hold the lever up and yes the wipers do still work

Disconnect battery, remove airbag, remove steering wheel, then it should be two screws and the plugs and the lever/assembly will come out. Get a new/ used switch, and a new/used girlfriend.

Really? That sucks. On my '01 you just take out the 2 screws.

I haven't replaced one on a 5G yet, but I did some on 6G Civics.

If you turn the wheel, you don't have to remove the airbag.

Remove the column shroud. Turn the wheel so you can see the two screws. Remove the screws. Unplug the switch (it might feel stuck when you try to remove the switch from the column).

Just find one in the local salvage yard or local CL you strip that piece from. Don't let them charge you more than $20-30. Otherwise PM me and I'll go strip one from the yard here.
