Default Wiper Help ! Civic 98

Hi everybody ! I own a civic si 1998 and my wiper and my windshield washer dont works ! I have searched around the forum and didnt find any answer ! I had a b20b inside, Also i dont hear anything while i put the wiper 'on' and its the same for the windshield washer , what can it be ? Thanks for help and sorry for my english ! Hope everything is clear

Well I would start by checking fuses!

next to check is the windshield wiper stalk on the steering column, then the wiring.. continuity tests should help you if it's not the stalk..

ok sounds good, keep us posted... if you do need a new stalk, rockauto has them, and you can search online for 5% off coupon codes. Instead of paying $$$ at the dealer.

Convince me you know what fuse protects the wiper circuit. And how did you test the fuse?

I am engineering student ! I have the tool to test connectivity , and a fuse in the fuse box is pretty simple to test !

Answer : I have a multimeter and a test plate, i also have the fuse box shema on the box door, i tested the fuse on a closed circuit and everything was good. Is it a good answer?

Vague.

Did you voltage test the the wiper fuse? Does voltage reach the motor from the fuse?

The wiper switch controls ground not voltage to the motor. Does the motor get good ground with the wiper switch turned on?
