Wiper Arm Adjustment

Wiper Arm Adjustment
I know how to take my wiper arms off and adjust their resting position. However, is there a way to control how far the motor actually turns the wiper? I don't want the wiper to swing as far as it is right now. It is almost hitting the rubber molding on the side of the window at the top position and it is resting too far down so it isn't always on the glass completely. I know there's probably plenty of resources on how to do this but I guess I'm not using the right search terms.

Sounds like you need to put on a shorter passenger wiper blade to solve the first problem (almost running into trim). Then if it's resting too low put the wipers in their park position, remove the passenger arm and adjust it to sit a little bit higher.
There is no way to make the motor itself cover more or less area. Okay, well I'm sure its' possible but I wouldn't think it's at all worth the money it would cost.

Why are the wiper motors so damn weak to go back down? They can fly up and always get stuck in the middle of the window unless its on high lol It gets rather annoying.

That sounds like it might be your wiper park switch. The solution is to replace the wiper motor. You can get them for pretty cheap on eBay.

Its funny though both my 96 and 97 did/do it. The 97 is definately worse, I have the wiper motor from the 96 but I mean that did the same thing so IDK.
