Default Winter undercarriage maintenance...

Recently, I had to replace my exhaust due to road salt damage from previous years. I'm looking for suggestions on how best to keep my undercarriage from being damaged by the winter salt, etc. Any products/techniques that work well? I live in the Baltimore area if this helps.

Already searched thanks.

I was told that the products used at some car washes are unsafe. Any truth to this?

Also, I've tried to go to a couple here in Mayland and they said my car was "too low." Although, I never had this problem in Philly.

Keep em' comin...I'm sure other people have this concern.

wash the undercarriage off regular. Just spraying it with water works as well.

Yeah, just spray under the car and in the wheel wells with water whenever u wash the car. Or if you don't wash the car that much in the winter cold, just spray it every now and then.

i would get the under part coated, i have never tried this but i have heard of a lot of people getting it in this area. it is just like a rubber coating that protects the chassis.
