Default windshield washer nozzles help

Hello all:

Just got a cf hood and realize that there's no pre-drilled washer holes. I did a search and I know there's people have the simliar problem but there's no follow up or update after all.

frist option, I can drill a holes but the original nozzles don't fit well coz the thickness of the location in the cf is thicker that the original hood. I am curious if there any oem style nozzles that can sercuely fit and really spray "mist" out instead of "shot" out a line of fluid?

second option, get those fan shape spray and put underneath the hood .... again... it's like a legend that no pic or write up but only being mention couple of time... I wonder if that such a thing? if so, may I know where I can get those?

my car is a 94 ex couple.

thanx

Thats wierd that they dont predrill holes for your windshield washer..i suggest not having the windshield nozzles and rerouting the windshield wiper pump hose and tie it to your windshield wipers. My friend did that when he got his carbon fiber hood. It just look ghetto if you tried to drill holes..you know?

On my 79 trans am there are no hood mounted wiper fluid nozzels, they come from right under the hood above the wipers. you could make a custom bracket with some home made nozzels and run it like that. I've never seen it on a sport compact.

The newer SIs have nozzles that spray in a nice mist instead of the stream sprayers our cars came with.

hello all:

thanx for the reply. I guess it's not a big deal to drill holes. Just want to know if there any other way other than that. and I double check the space underneath the hood... and seems like it's kinda tight to put a nozzles there.

I heard that the later civic model spray mist and can swap to our eg model.... but then, the thickness of the cf hood is thicker than stock (@ the nozzles location) which won't sercuely fit there. how u guys do? just snap the original nozzles to the cf hood?

My CF hood came with pre-drilled nozzles, but if you do try, just make a template off the stock one. Then you're most likely going to have to shave your nozzles a bit for them to fit (I had to do this). My nozzles still don't go in perfectly, but in there tight enough so that they won't come out.

my cf hood didnt come with predrilled holes, so what I did was bought some ricer led nozzles since they have a differnt base than the stock ones. it is easier to drill a round hole than try to make the stock nozzle fit with the rectangular base. I just cut the wires off and painted the nozzle black. couldnt even notice them.

find a 91 camaro and steal the washer nozzles. they are mounted on the wiper arm and spray WITH the movement of the blade.

There are places that sell that clear hose, and the plastic extenders and ****. What i've seen people do, is on that plastic molding, where the windshield wipers are...
On the corners, is this space that you can put the nozzles there. So youd have them angled at almost dead center where the driver and pasenger would look. SO this is kinda ghetto rigged, but not really. You can Drill holes in this plastic and fit it properly with washers, rubber (cut your own shapes) and make it all OEM lookin. Or b, use some strong *** 3m tape, like the **** used on the badges "CIVIC" on the back of your rear bumper. They'd be close to where the front fenders are.

dude, we're in the south. that's not ghetto at all. now hold it on with duct tape. now that's ghetto, or as I like to call it home made.
