Windshield Replacement.
I have a 99 Silver Civic and my windshield was recently cracked by a Circuit City employee who was testing out the shock sensor from the alarm I was getting installed. Anyways I was getting quotes for windshields and I really wanted to go OEM which is around 250-300. Are they a big difference from the aftermarket windshield which range from 150-250. Which would you prefer?

Also alot of the OEM windshield come with the green/blue tint. Iam not feeling the color tint but anybody who experienced the color windshield tint, please give your opinion on it.

Why would you buy from OEM? Just call up one of the many windshield replacement shops and have them install it. I got one for $175 w/ the blue tint on top installed. You can get them without the blue tint if you want to put film tint there or something, just ask.

Eh, it's glass. I have personally never noticed a difference between the glass that comes with the car from factory and what you buy for replacement glass.
