window visors / rain guards recommendation

i have no A/C in my sedan and sometimes its nice to feel the breeze....i smoke too so i wanna be able to ash and stuff, anyway....

which visors do you guys recommend? can i get away with using bootleg pepboys ones, weather tech , or for the OEM fans, the access honda ones.

people who respond that have experience with these is a plus https://honda-tech.com/forums/images/smilies/emthup.gif

had some brand x visors on my car.. worked fine in the rain and wind wasn't blowing in my face going 100 on the freeway, im a legendary smoker and i alwayz smoked with my visors. everyone recommends the weathertech stuff so try that or get the jdm ones.

from my experience.....

I got the "pepboy's" ones for my previous coupe and I now have the Honda Access ones on my hatch. I must say that while the jdm ones look much better....the pepboy's ones were more effective.

the visors on my coupe came down much lower then the jdm ones, which allowed me to roll the window down further to allow more air in.

the visors on my hatch definetely look 100% better than the el cheapo's, but I wish they came down a littel further. I guess that's the price you pay for wanting jdm parts. one thing i will say, is i love how the jdm one's are basically bolted on with plastic rivets....compared to the cheapo's being glued on with double sided tape.

I haven't ever used the weathertech's, but I have neard nothing but good things about them.

if i was put back in the same situation to buy visors....I would probably still go with the jdm's, due to the bling factor.

They will NOT go anywhere, trust me. I had rain guards on my thunderbird, and one of them happened to get broken (long story). So here i have this jagged ass broken rain guard on my car. I could NOT get this thing off, it was stuck on so damned tight. These do not just pull off, trust me.

----------------------------------------

It's almost 72 or so with taxes ect..and some people just don't like dealing with online/shipping. My price is also OBO. Sometimes I'm willing to pay more to get an item NOW or even avoid shipping. Thanks for the info tho. https://honda-tech.com/forums/images/smilies/emthup.gif

Re: window visors / rain guards recommendation (skt)

I have the weather-tech ones and I love them. Very easy to install, very sturdy, and get the job done. You can roll them down a good amount and now allow any water to get in. I dont really like the Honda Access ones because they are to much of a pain to take in and out and you usually end up braking them. Also, the weather-tech ones come all the way down past the mirrors, while the access ones taper and stop at the edge of the mirror. I believe that the Honda Access visors are like a flat black, while the weather-tech ones are transparent. Also, the Weather-tech visors are alot cheaper.
