Window rolls up, but won't go down
Ok, back again with another issue on my 98 ex. The other day while in an argument with my hot lil tamale (girlfriend) I slammed my passenger door, now my power window will not roll down. You can hear the motor switch on when you try to roll it up, as it is already all the way up, but nothing when you try to roll it down. Took off the inner door handle at the switch to check for loose wires, ect, but nothing. I've ruled out a bad switch as it does the same thing from either driver side passenger window switch, and the switch on the passenger door. The motor is getting power because you can hear it try to push the window up (but won't because it is already all the way up) but does nothing at all when you try to roll it down.. Any ideas???

did you check the wires running through the door? make sure none of them are loose or broken? you will probably have to pull the rubber boot over the harness back to see.

Take the door panel off, unplug the motor, and jump a battery to the motor using two wires. Confirm that the window can go both up and down by reversing the wires.
