window regulator replacement?
95 Civic Si hatch, my window regulator is broke so im getting a new one. However the repair guy told me I'd need some new rubber trim pieces to complete the repair.
Do you guys know what he's talking about?
Here's the pages that lists the possible parts.

Re: window regulator replacement?
The edge of the glass slides in a rubber side channel as it rolls up and down. This may be what you need. I think it's part 6/11 in the first link. Once you have the door panel off. it should be obvious.

It is a good idea to replace them at the same time. This is a weak point in 6th gens especially and it wouldn't suprise me if it was apparent in the 5th gens as well.
The windows constantly come off track if they aren't attended too constantly. When I replaced my regulator I replaced my channel rubber as well. This ensures you don't have a crappy channel, causing extra stress on your new regulator and in turn it will extend the life of the regulator. Extra measures include cleaning this run channel, and applying silicone spray every now and then.

Maintenance on windows is not the most fun thing to do. I end up pulling the windows out and cleaning/realigning everything while spraying silicone lubricant into the tracks once a year just so I dont have to ever worry about anything.
