Window Regulator Problem
I just bought a 1997 EK hatch. and The problem is that the driver window will only roll up until its about 4-5 inches away from closing and it just gets stuck.
I did do a search and Read that my regulator is bent? i believe..
Would all i have to replace is the regulator? or also the channel?
I have manual windows btw.
and If i replace the regulator where should I get it? Junkyard? Online? or just get everything done at a shop?
Thankss

Re: Window Regulator Problem
take your door trim off and see for yourself how bent it really is. in most cases you can bend it back and still ahve it functional.

Re: Window Regulator Problem
The regulators in our cars weren't engineered very well. I (and many others) have had problems. I would probably order a new one from majestic honda or something, it'll most likely be cheaper than your local dealer. I wouldn't get a junk yard one, since they have a tendency to get worse and worse with age.
Just carefully inspect the channel, if it looks fine keep it. They're way expensive from Honda.
