window reg ?

Default window reg ?

so my window will not go up the reg went. my ? is how can i get the window to go up and stay up until i get a new regulator? also its a 96 civic ex. what years of civics will the regulator be the same if i went to the junkyard to get one?

oh is there a way to jump the harness to make sure that the regulator is bad and its not just the switch? diagram or pic of how to jump it would be great

well ok after messing with it the pass side switch put the window up now wont do anything. the driver side switch did not put the window up but pass side did. im soo confused. and the lock quit working last week to so im thinking i have a big wiring prob i would assume. not thinking its a regulator so much anymore. sh*t

Have you taken it apart to see if anything is preventing it from going up/down?

Hmmm, have you done any wiring lately that might have resulting in you getting a short?

umm not really. just a jumper harness for ecu to go from obd2a to obd2b. its a 96 civic with 00 gsr swap

can the window be taken off when its closed. like the 10 mmbolts that hold the window in. will the window come out? its 94 degrees and its killing me

Pretty sure your driver side switch is not working properly. Best way to make sure its not the motor or the reg is to open the door panel and give direct power to the motor. If the window goes up or down, then the motor and the reg is good. Either the switch or the wiring is not sending power to it.
