window keeps popping out of place when i close my driver door
this has been happening for a while now...and today it happend again, for the 4th time...it happens when i roll my window about 1/2 way down, and when i close my door, it just falls out of place. i took the door panel off to put it back in place, and i notice that it's suppose to be wedged in some rubber lining, i put it back in. then when i drove my car home (with my window 1/2 way down), and when i closed the door, it ****** popped out again...this only happens when i just push the door to close, but when i slowly close it, then it doesn't happen...is there a way to tighten the window or something? all i know what to do is just keep on putting it back into the rubber holdings..but is there anything else to stop this from happening?

what do you mean by the track bolt? i tried looking for bolts and stuff, but couldn't see any bolts that would be useful to tighten the window down

In a Junkyard near you.

With the window half way rolled down try to rock it back in fourth in the track. If it does so or if you hear any strange noises in the process, or if the window moves more than about 1/2inch. your window regulator is probably shot. Your local dealer should have one in stock.

I had the same problem with my own window rail. It was bent over a little; so straightening it out helped a lot. The adjustment bolt at the bottom of the door helps you tighten the rails against the glass.

look at #17. There are 2 10mm bolts that holds the window in place. (this applies to EK as well). Just realign the window to the tracks and tighen the bolts.

When you take your doorpanel off you can see the regulator and the bottom of the window. Slowly attach the door handle and roll the windows up and down. See what's causing the problem. It's all pretty self explanatory. PM me if you have any questions.

I had to replace the whole part(dunno what its called but part #29 on the pic) which lifts the window. I think I stripped it somehow and so the spring wont hold and that how the window keeps falling. Anyways I bought a new part and installed SPAL power window kit. So no more manual for me. Good luck!

Sounds like you have a window regulator problem. Hopefully it's just out of adjustment and you don't have to replace it. When you have the door panel off, check all of the bolts that hold the regulator in. That's the big scissor mechanism.
One of the bolts is in a slotted hole. Loosen that one slightly and roll the window all the way up and make sure it's in the tracks the whole time. Once it's at the top, tighten that one bolt and it should be properly adjusted. There's no other adjustment to be made so if this doesn't work, then you might need a new regulator.
If you look at the above pic, I think the slotted hole is on the bottom right of the x-shape of the regulator.
