Window keeps coming off track!!
Ok this is the second time this has happened to me. And it is going to be the second time fixing it too. I take the whole damn driver's side door apart. Take the window off the electric window slider dealy take it out, clean it for ***** and giggles, then slide the damn thing into it's track to make sure it is on track AGAIN. Reattach it to the slider dealy. Boom it's done, right?? No it happens again later. (1 month or so) Around the same time of night 1-2 in the morning. Cold outside etc, any ideas of what it could be????

Re: Window keeps coming off track!! (SuperDragII)
Well it is fixed but am still looking to as why it would constantly come off track. I tightened any bolt down that I could find on the door, including the ones holding the mirror on! Hopefully it'll last this time, again though any ideas of why or like SuperDragII post if you have had a similar problem thanks!

Re: Window keeps coming off track!! (96 SOHC VTEC)
My window came off track constantly, and then I fixed it and tightened the bolts down, etc. and it still kept coming off track.
SO, I inspected the rubber weatherstripping stuff on the inside of the track that goes all the way around the door, and sure enough it was torn and the window would fall out of it, so I went to Honda and bought another one, sprayed some silicone grease on it, and have never had any problems since, BTW this was a year ago.

Mine isn't torn or anything I checked... Maybe I could grease it up a bit with some silicon lubricant I have...

yeah, it needs to be lubricated. You might have a bent arm as well. Don't know how but somehow I managed to that and since I replaced it, no probs. BTW, was extremely hard to tell w/o comparing it to a new one.
