Default window cement or motor mount inserts?

okay, i've heard some people on here talk about putting window cement where the motor mounts go to make a solid mount.
so is window cement good to use, or should i just buy the prothane motor mount insert kit?

use inserts. If you dont use inserts use and old tire. Cit it into strips and jam it in

its just polyurithane they are injuceting into the mounts. you cap one side with a piece of carboard and then fill up the gaps around the rubber with the poly. it is cheap and it works. the benifit of getting the inserts is that you can take them out if you don't like the vibration or if you want to sell the car. useing pieces of tires is a new one to me....

If your car is your only car and daily driver, then I would reccommend getting the inserts. I like the homegrown style but being without the ride for 24-48 hours just isn't feasible.

me too.... you know if spoon or mugen marketed a bottle of polyurethan motor mount filler everybody would be on top of it. i was planning on doing inserts anyway and these seem just as good, without having to ziptie the e.s. inserts in
