I believe there is a difference between VTEC and non-VTEC oil pans, but I'm not sure if they are interchangable or not.
Hmm OK i just wanted to confirm if it will work because mine is leaking. Can anybody else confirm?

i dont think they are.
Z6 ones are steel
Y8 ones are aluminum
i think that is the difference in them.

it will fit but you'll need the z6 oil pump as well. the y8 pan sucks and the oil pump doesn't pump oil very well either. lots of y8s with spun bearings, not so many z6s.
