Will transmission from a 98 civic ex fit in a 95 civic ex?

I have a 95 ex with a bad transmission and I know someone selling a transmission for a 98 civic ex my question is will it fit. They are both d-series

If manual, yes. If Auto, no.

It will not work correctly.

You need to find one from 92-95.
