right now i have tokiko blues and i ordered h&r sport springs. the tokiko blues drop the car about 1.5

the sport springs for del sol would drop it between 1.25 to 1.3 inches.

i was wondering if the blues would be sufficient to run the h&r's on for the time being as opposed to stock struts. would dampening be completely horrible or is it not even worth trying? any input would be appreciated

I'm running tokico blues on with my H&R races and the ride is decent. Its nothing spectacular, the ride is slightly rough but liveable. It is definetly better then stock though. The tokico blues are supposed to be slightly better then stock shocks. I regret not spending the extra money on konis or kybs though.

but also those springs have much higher spring rates and drop the car a lot more. the race i hear are very bumpy. but if you havent ~too~ many complaints i am assuming with a lesser drop and softer rate, it should be sufficient until i get koni's or agx :D

Not even close to bouncy. The ride is real firm and solid feeling.

blues should be fine on hr sports,
better than stock shocks thats 4 sure.

but dont even think about trying to run them on hr race springs

My set up is H&R sports on Tokico Blues. The ride is just okay. Minor bouncing at times. I bought the blues used so yeah. If your Blues are gonna be brand new. The ride quality should be a lot better
