Will stock shocks get blown with coil overs set to stock height?

Will stock shocks get blown with coil overs set to stock height?
I am puting my car back to stock, and was wondeing, if i set my coil overs to stock Heights, with the stock shocks, will they blow?

it will increase the life of your shocks, but blowing them is inevitable.

No they will not blow any faster than with stock springs. The reason they blow is excessive pressure from lowering too much but at stock height the extra pressure is not there, coilovers or not.

I think they will still blow because the shocks have to work harder to keep the stiffer springs under control.
Think about it. If your stock springs compress 1inch, the spring will bounce back with lets say 150 pounds of pressure. Now it's the shocks job to keep this under control. With siffer springs compressed 1 inch will bounce back with lets say 400 pounds of pressure. Your stock shocks can't handle it. ( that is why people with stiff springs and stock shocks bounce, the shock are not powerful enough to stop the bouncing).
and of course the lower you are the worst it is.
