Well, my first winter with my civic is coming up and I need some opinions. This was never a problem when I had my Galant VR-4
I have a B16 and Koni/eibach's...... and an open diff. Will snow tires on the stock 14's be enough to keep me on the road? Or should I hurry up and find a diff?

If you learn how to drive real quick you won't even need to change tires.

I won't be going anywhere, let alone going anywhere quickly, on summer tires.
