Yes. Do you have them? They have a bright, clean white look. OEM regular halogens have a yellowish color to them compared to the SS. I replaced only one and turned the lights on the check...much better. Have fun getting the passenger side one in, it was a pain in the ****.

I noticed a difference with mine. When I installed them I did a comparison to see if there was a difference, installed one of the silverstars and left one stock and there is a big difference.

Civics use a H4 (or 9003 to some companies) bulb that is a dual filiment. One bulb controls both low and high beams.

I've seen a set and thought they were whiter than stock but not as white as my PIAA Super Whites. I am getting rid of the Super Whites to get the Extreme Whites from PIAA, they are a lot whiter. Rated at 4150k. I have some in my fogs and they are the closest bulb I have seen to HID but of course not the same.

may i ask how much you are paying for these? i have seen them go for about 70-80 a set and this is your 2nd set? Just wondering why you dont go ahead and spend a little extra and get H.I.Ds?

I get my PIAA H4's for about $50 a set. I know with what I have spent in PIAA bulbs in the last 5 years I could have gotten HID's but oh well. The next set will actually be like my 5th set over a few years. Beauty in the PIAA's is that they have a 1 year warranty so if I burn them out I just take them to PIAA or the store I get them from and they swap them out on the spot. With HID's I realize they don't burn out as much but when one does its cost quite a bit to replace and I don't really burn out PIAA's.

And to get a HID setup with high beam isn't real cheap and I need a high beam.

I have Silverstars in my room right now. They suck to me. My cheap MTEC Bulbs

are way brighter than them. They do shine better on the road, but appearance

wise there ugly to me.

Think that was hard? Try changing them in a 01 dakota! I spent about 30 min doing nothing but scrapping the hell out of my wrists, and making my fingers sore. It was even worse when I changed them in my durango that had the 5.9ltr engine (No room)....

I've got them in my truck now and if the lights in my civic ever go out (koito's) i'll be replacing them with silverstars since i cant find the ones i have in there now.

for $40 bucks a pair they are the best investment I have made, remember don't compare them to HID's because they are nothing close to them, but cheaper and better they any PIAA

silverstar's may be a DECENT upgrade over stock, but if you askme they are a waste of money.....i've used alomost every bulb you can think of in my civic and 3 weeks ago i finished an Audi TT HID retrofit and WHOA.......that is what people should be doing with their money!

my buddy has a '00 GTi with silverstars and we were side by side and you could barely tell that they were turned on, and they looked very yellow compared to my 4100K hid, of course!, and the GTi has a way better headlight design than ANY oem civic headlight!

I used to have a set of really nice PIAA bulbs, but they burned out. I think I spent like 65 bucks on them. I decided I'd never waste money for bulbs like that again.

Now I'm just waiting till I get more important **** done on my car and then I'll purchase a HID set-up for the Civic.
