How do you like your EDFC? I thought about getting that before I decided to build the car for honda challenge, but I'm still curious as to how the different damper settings actually affect handling and ride quality. Thanks!

a bit off topic, but do you really need the edfc? i mean the fronts are just right there, and the rears aren't that difficult to get to... and of course the only time you'd be changing the damper settings are at the track and when you initially play with the settings.

but yes, i'm pretty sure the edfc modules will work, they simply mount on top of the adjustment screws. the password 3point strut bar leaves a big circle around the bar, leaving plenty of space

btw, edfc doesnt do anything you cant already. damper settings are adjustable on flex's and many other dampers. the edfc adds convience if you actually need to change em. damper settings can drastically affect handling and could actually cause oversteer. as for ride quality, softest settings are best, but that will cause the handling to suffer. the damper settings affect the speed at which the damper compresses and rebounds.

I should be getting the EDFC this week I think... anyways, I drive a lot on my own: I like the car stiff for those rare empty-road-with-nice-twisties...

But on the weekends I often have passengers and they ALL hate my car, because it's so stiff...

And yes, I'm too lazy to keep adjusting by hand... So that's my use for the EDFC mainly...
(and the occasional testing purposes)
