Default Will the OBX intake mani make a diff on the minime?

Basically, I was looking on ebay and found some obx im's for kinda cheap. They look nice, all chromed out and look like they flow much better than my current im (y8). Would getting one of these make any noticeable difference? I know they are crucial for turbo but right now im N/A and was wondering if it was worth the 150 or so they were asking.

Anyone have one of these OBX intake manifolds? They are like $100 shipped. I know people are goin to say OBX sucks...but for $100...is it any better than say a Y8?

I have the Foucs 2, the one that OBX copys, and i love it, fucken hella-jdm was talking **** about it, but changing from a dx manifold to that, it was night and day, it holds nice and i think is worth the money, it has better runners then the ex manifold, but not as good as the skunk2 or the elbrok, so it's on u, but then agian it's OBX yo, so it has to be bad

^^ i think it's better then a fucken OEM EX manifold, even tho it's the Type R manifold of the D series, deal with it, OBX makes a product a bit better then OEM honda, it doesn't happen much, but the manifold are cool, just a bitch to install

Ill R&D ur mother.

if people did there hw on this , you would know that the oem-jdm mani is alot better due to the cfm numbers + the cfm's match the head an build for that so your better off gettin a "slight" porting and alot of polishing on the jdm-oem. You can get a box mani if you want but just because you have a **** load of cfm's doesnt mean your goin beable to get them to the head anyfaster. It will be slower of anything to to the poor mig welds on the obx's when there were cut an matched . But if thats what you want by all means do it....

I looked on their site for a phone number but the only thing I found was a FAX. If you want a good intake manifold, don't get this one...unless you know how to port and polish.

Yes, I run this mani of my d15 minime and you can tell the difference. You'll want to make sure you've got a good fuel rail, injectors, and FPR to get the most out of it though, or it will lean you out.

yeah... you wont need an aftermarket fuel rail, injectors, or a FPR unless you are running like 250 whp, which unless this guy has a turbo, doesnt have on his mini me.
