Yes. Your car will run like garbage and you will use alot of gas. Basicly the o2 sensor tells the engine if its running too lean or too rich and without it, your engine will just guess. I suggest getting another one. To my knowledge, it dosn't harm your engine though. I could be wrong though.

never listen to people sho tell you to run with a check engine light. the car can run but don't do it for long. those MIL's are there for engine performance and logevity. it is telling you something is wrong. I see this a lot where guys run on no O2 and they kill the motor cause the car goes rich and it washes out the cylinders and next thing the motor is burning oil like crazy and then the rings get blown out. fix that O2.

How many of you actually have personal experience with this sort of thing??? I suggest getting some before posting **** you don't know.
I ran my b16a2 swap without either of my O2 sensors functioning. Car got 29-31 mpg, and ran frickin great. Also went to the track and ran a 15.3 with just the swap, catback, and GSR ecu in a 97 hx...60 ft was shitty too.
OEM fuel maps are VERY accurate..at least hondas are. You aren't going to run super rich and wash down your cylinder walls.
O2 sensor codes aren't a big deal....you DON'T go into limp mode, PERIOD.
Thinks like CKF sensor codes WILL put you into limp.

Whith out running an o2, your spark plugs will foul and yor cat will clog if you are running one. Get a new one . Then why do cars have them?
