Just take a packing blanket and ratchet strap the door to the roof via the back windows, i would image the trans would fit in the trunk. Getting it out could be the hard part.

A complete door from an EK sedan will fit in the trunk of an EK sedan with the back seats pushed down. I've done this twice.

put the door in the trunk. Bring some twine and an old sofa cushion (to protect the door from the trunk lid) and put it all together. I've done it before, it works good.

I fit 2 doors in my 98 civic hatchback one time. That was with the 2 front seats on. If the 92-95 civic hatch is similar in internal space to mine, you could fit the transmission by removing the passenger's seat. Make sure you bring a bunch of blankets to keep the doors from moving and scratching.
didn/t mention that my rear seats and plastics were not in the car.
