I dont think your stock pressure plate will have enough clamping force to hold the torque a b20 turbo would put out even with the six puck.

right now im boosting about 9-10 pounds with a stock clutch, when i power shift, it grabs hard without showing any signs of giving out. i was wondering if i get a 6 puck will it be harder for the pressure plate to handle? or will it be ok and grab even harder?

Yah I would just stick with it like it is and just replace it when, or if it fails because of your upgrades. I agree with EG.

If you're pulling the tranny and replacing the disc why not replace the pressure plate while your there? I would spend the extra and get a heavy duty pressure plate even if yours is holding fine.
