Default Will ITR Stock Shifter work in my 99 Civic SI ??

Hey People..

I was wondering,

Will a 98 ITR Stock Shifter (lever) work in my 99 Civic SI ??

I was told it has a shorter throw on it then my civic.

Will it bolt up and work correctly?

Is this hard to change?

Thanks

DK

im pretty sure it will fit correctly.. i would only do it if your getting it cheap or free cause a real short shifter is much better and im sure a shorter throw than the stock itr shifter..

i had a dc sports short shifter for a 94+ integra gsr/itr in my stock 92 civic si and did not have any problems w/ it at all.. gears were very short and it felt great..

are ITR springs good on ur SI, cuz my friend wanted me to buy them from him, he said that they were stiffer and a half and inch, lower. i was wondering if they are good for performance. he wanted to sell them to me for 150- 200 dollars.

It is a very good low budget upgrade. It lowered mine 1" in the front and 0.5" in the rear. I still have stock shocks so late this year, i will be getting KYB AGX. I figure why spend on the money on Koni Yellows, when I spent very little on springs.

Here are my install pics... http://www.sonic.net/~abwc/jeff/MySi...ing%20Install/

I paid $60 for mine with 3000miles on them.

if you have any questions, IM me here.

FYI:

When I installed my C's Short Stroke Shift (the EK4/DC2 model), I had to use the ITR shift linkage rod...changing out the rod is a royal pain in the **** (the cotter pin is in really tight ).
