My wife has a 99Si and it has Neuspeed sport springs(the green ones) and Koni blues. I was wanting to run some 17x7.5 Rota Grids on a 45mm offset and 215 40 17's. Would I have any problems running this wheel/tire combo?

Yes you'll have problems. You're going to rub. ESPECIALLY having a dropped car and running 215/40/17
If it's your wife's car, she'll be happier with 16" or 15"....17" on a lowered car is only for people who drive streets paved with gold. It's gonna be a shitty ride on those 17"

I was running a 215/45/17 on my 97ex for a while. It was lowered on some ebay coilovers. The tires in the back barely moved up into the wheelhouse but it never really rubbed to much. You learn your limits on turning and where you can and can't go. I started to switch to 215/40's but I sold the rims. Now im dumped on 14's.

Yeah it rides rough now. She has 205 40 17 and you feel every little bump in the road. And thanks for the replies I was wondering if I was ever gonna get some help.
