Hi,

I have the following in my 93 civic ex:
usdm b16a2 out of 00 si
si brake booster
stock air box
aebs intake manifold
bored b16 tb to 65mm
dc sports 4-1 header
greddy evo2 exhaust

ecu:
Will a skunk 2 chipped p28 work?
or i have my stock p28 w/ no mods from my 93ex
Running obd1...

?

to pass smog the you have to have an engine the same year or newer in your car which you have, but the you also have to have all smog equipment hooked up to the year of the engine. so if you have a 00 b16 you have to run it as OBD2 with that ECU and everything. you could always hook that stuff up pass the ref and then go back. the ref probally wont like the intake man ether.

If you have a CARB sticker for the intake, it'll be legal..

otherwise.... it can be a long few hours replacing it.

good luck with the manifold and ecu. Ref will ask you to convert the car to obd2 specs due to the year of your motor.

if you tell them it's a 95 motor, it'll pass if you run a usdm p30 obd1 ecu and an oem looking intake manifold. the motor doesnt have a vin # on it, and ref's dont know how to read the head stamp for the year of the motor

In order to pass....
1.you have to convert your car to obdII
2.must have the stock b16a2 intake manifold.
3.must have "all" the stock Si emission sensors.
4. must have 00 civic si ECU ( I dont think you can use a p30 ecu)
5. must have paperwork and proof (some refs are **** about this)
6 Carb numbers for the header and exhaust.


thats all i can think of if i forgot to add something, feel free to continue the list

stock air box (99-00 si air box?)
aebs intake manifold (won't pass with this unless it has a CARB number)
bored b16 tb to 65mm (shouldn't be a problem)
dc sports 4-1 header (must have a CARB number FOR the b16a2)
greddy evo2 exhaust (not a problem)

ecu:
