will this hurt my performance?
i have an apexi muffler with 2.25" piping. i'm thinking of going with 2.5" piping with a stock 02 civic si hatchback muffler and getting rid of my apexi muffler. the si muffler is a straight through muffler, just not as loud as my apexi muffler.

I don't know the diameter of the Si muffler but I doubt its 2.5". You may be able to keep your 2.25" piping and attach the Si muffler to that.

i think that size piping is good. this other guy has the same hatch as mine with the same motor. he will leave me on top end and the only thing he has different from me is the piping size.
