Default will GSR suspension fit on Civic CX

i just bought GSR Front arms, calipers, rotors, pads, GSR Rear trailing arms, rotors, calipers, pads, GSR Brake Lines, and GSR brake booster/master cylinder. One of my friends told me that with my stock CX steelies, it wont fit, is this guy a fool, or will i need to make some changes in order to instal the GSR suspension on my 93 Civic. thanks.

all that will fit except for the brake booster and M/C u will need to reflare brake lines for compatibility. if u run those gsr brakes on there u can not fit the CX steelies they are too small. u need to get 14 inch wheels or bigger. good luck

Definitely not a fool (I take it you're the friend who told him), I have GSR stuff all around and couldn't fit anything less that 14". This kept me from selling wheels a couple of times, but hey I can stop better.

Yeah as the other guy said, you won't be able to use the MC and booster since its from a car with ABS. You can use an RS master cylinder or check back in one of Tom's posts because I beleive he said theres an 88-91 MC that works fine.

i went to the junk yard and pulled the M/C off of a 92-95 civic 4 door with 4 disc brakes and it bolted up to my car. the M/C form those cars was a 7/8 and its great. i also have the 40/40 prop valve from the rs integra.

I believe Integras have 4 wheel disc. The CX has drums in the back and dinky discs up front. Going to a larger brake setup gives you more stopping power.

I beleive the EX Civic Coupes have the same front brakes as the Integra.

ABS-equipped Si's should have the Integra sized brakes.

Non-ABS gets the little disc/disc set-up.

My CX has dinky little front discs. One good thing about GSR suspensions is the sway bars, front and rear.

Ok I have a Power Brake Booster from a 2000 GSR and it fits in there perfectly, Also get the Master cylinder from a 91 Civic EX it is a 15/16th units and everything fits perfectly.
