Will GSR or Si brake master sylinder fit into 92-95 Civic Hatch??
My brakes have been notoriously spongy for a long time now. I've bled them a few times and replaced the pads and rotors.
Will the master cylinder fit? Also, would I need a corresponding GSR brake booster, or are they all the same?
If anyone has done this please tell me about it.

The Honda-Hybrid page has a section on a gsr mc install in a 5th gen hatch. You will need the booster as well. An mc with ABS will have a larger fitting near the booster and you might need a new brake line from a 5th gen si. I hear it's easier to use a 15/16" mc non-abs from a 94-up integra. I have one in my garage waiting to be installed, I just need time and some tools. Anybody have any input on this?

soon , i'm gonna know the REAL interchange
i work at an import salvage yard and my interchange says its 90-97 integra , so this week sometime i'm gonna try an older teg one to see if it fits for future reference
90-93 tegs non-abs way easier to find than 94-up , most of those cars we get in have ABS
i'll keep it posted

i just installed the type r 1" master cylinder and brake booster onto my del sol. the booster and mc bolted right up. the lines gave me a little trouble.. but nothing any of you couldn't handle. the line closest to the front of the car just had to be bent a little. the line closer to the rear was a little tricky. first of all, the fittings are different. thank god the correct fitting was on the mc i bought (from http://www.fastbrakes.com). this involved having to cut the old flare off of that line to remove the old fitting and get it re-flared at a local hydraulic hose shop. then i had to bend the line up so it could mount up on the opposite side of the mc. that's about it. if anyone in the orange county area needs the number of the place that flared the line for me... just let me know.

Please keep us posted, I want to attempt this install soon because I just got my fastbrakes kit from Brian, 11" disks all the way around.
